John Grimes Sideboard / hutch

From my personal collection is this beautifully preserved John Grimes teak cabinet / sideboard from the early 1960's (with removable hutch). A hallmark of Australian mid-century craftsmanship.
 
This piece features clean lines, wave drawer pulls, and the signature floating base that gives it a light, elevated presence.
Constructed from solid teak and teak veneer panels, original finish in warm honey tones. Three drawers flanked by two drop down cupboards, upper section with adjustable shelves and sliding glass doors. In excellent original condition, with minor age related wear, glass in tact and teak freshly cleaned and conditioned.
 
Perfect for collectors or anyone seeking an authentic mid-century statement piece that blends storage and display with timeless elegance.
